In honor of World Sake Day – which we’re celebrating at every SUSHISAMBA locale – we’re sharing one of our favorite sake cocktails.

The libation includes sake, umeshu and sweetened bitters – spritzed with prosecco and served long over ice.

GLASS: WINE GLASS

GARNISH: LEMON ROSE

ICE: CUBE ICE

  • 35ml Sake
  • 35ml Umeshu
  • 15ml Simple syrup
  • 15ml Elderflower
  • 4 dashes Plum bitters
  • 35ml Prosecco

METHOD:

  1. Add all ingredients except prosecco to a wine glass half filled with cubed ice
  2. Stir
  3. Add prosecco and top with fresh ice garnish with lemon rose
