Under the mandate to “Eat, Drink and Educate,” Miami’s Food Network and Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival was another resounding success.

The event, which was held over five fabulous days (and nights!) Feb 20-24th throughout South Florida, included a wide range of dynamic events featuring Miami’s best food and drink, and our Miami Beach location was there in full force.

SUSHISAMBA Miami participated in the King’s Hawaiian Taste of Aloha and Art of Tiki Showdown hosted by The Food Network’s Anne Burrell. Singer Jewel performed as guests mingled around the Surfcomber boutique hotel’s pool on the evening of February 23rd when Executive Chef David Yeh and his staff worked together to present two dishes his colorful and fresh Salmon Tiradito: ikinkan honey, garlic ponzu, garlic chip, and the beautiful Wahoo Tiradito: aji amarillo, yuzu, truffle oil, pineapple brullee one of the most sought after small plates at the event.
